I have been designing and developing websites, first on a voluntary basis, and now professionally for around three years now. I am a self-motivated, self starter, and graduate of Cardiff University, with wide ranging experience, gained by working in many fields of employment in Edinburgh, London, and Cardiff.

I have a full, clean driving licence, and would be prepared to travel for the right job.

Objectives At the moment, to develop my skills and gain useful experience, especially in web development. In the longer term, to concentrate more on C++, Perl or whatever emerges to replace them.

Skills HTML (& DHTML, XHTML), JavaScript, PHP, Perl, COBOL, Pascal, C++. I am experienced in Microsoft Word, Works, Photoshop 5. My system at home runs Windows ME, and Linux, and I used Apple Macintoshes at university. I have used Macromedia's Dreamweaver, although I prefer to handwrite my code.

Date of birth: 9 April 1962.

Works in progress.Works in progress.Current Employment

At present, I am working as a self employed consultant, updating and maintaining websites I have created.

Recent projects include improving the code in the Beta to Alpha versions of a freely distributed PHP program that feeds spambots (webcrawlers which search for email addresses) with a potentially unlimited number of fake addresses.

I am presently working on a content management system (CMS). At present this includes a script to clean up HTML written with Microsoft Word, and a script to display the pages that recent visitors came from. I am presently developing a suite that updates a site from a browser.
